Found a softlockable area. You can apparently stand on these, but if you pop between standing on them and reaching land, you will respawn here with the only way to fill back up being items

Despite using fresh saves on the dev build, I can't progress through Cave Cove.  Certain areas (Including past the water shrine, which was reachable in 0.5.11) are locked off that seemingly shouldn't be, and the Cove Key isn't working anywhere.  Furthermore, it seems as if when picking up the Cove orbs I only get one item register in the inventory, even though both function normally as if I had both.  I'm not sure what I'm missing here, since others seem to be able to progress at least to the shark fight.  Any help?  I endeavor to playtest all I can access right now.  I'd like to help but can't tell if it's user error or not.

If your playing the downloaded version, that one hasn't been updated in a while. I can package an update for both tomorrow:)

Ah, okay that makes sense.  I have the latest downloaded build (Update 4, called test3 in the file) that's available, but if the browser version is different I wouldn't have expected that.

I defeated Nessie, but after that is this error. It keeps appearing every time the battle end.

Heeey, so in case you see this first:  I found an interesting oversight in the main release of 0.5.11.  Since it's the main release, I put the details on the main game's page.  :}

Just saw :) Ty for the report xD Im not too worried about that zone,  its pretty barebones! But you can see some of the slime tiles mechanics! You might be able to get to one of the new towns too.

You can.  The walls of the second room aren't coded well for floating jumps, and the slime hazard and wandering spider thing don't function, leaving it just a matter of finding the exit.  While this gets you to the town, no areas there function, and the big door at the north of town is a softlock (Probably no warp exit).  And since you can't traverse the slime in the first room because it functions and we don't have that power yet, there's no progression to be found elsewise.  So mostly safe outside of what corruption of save files might happen later, which I can't verify without time travel.  I can't time travel.  :{

For some reason my character can't float on water even though she is a balloon, please fix this.

Will be fixing this in next testing patch

Loving the game thus far, but I did seem to run into this glitch. I will see Brookes start to inflate, then the screen gets stuck like this. Music still plays and mushroom still does his idle animation, but the game takes no inputs

Ah I thought I got these all! Thanks for the report! I think I might as well rewire this cutscene ro uaw the new VN system while I am fixing this :)

Not a problem. I didn't realize at the time how much progress this impedes. Hopefully a fix comes out soon. Love it so far;)

wont be too bad! I have a system for doing it fast :) I've been meaning to upgrade this cutscene forever now! Glad ur enjoying the game!

Cutscene is still a little bugged. It will play through, but Jill refuses to leave the screen after the fact

Dammit Jill I said exit stage left

So I've managed to find two new bugs so far:

1. So there is an invisible barrier that prevents you from going into this room (Previously was not there) 

2. Dev girl is still blocking this path, as well as the path of the other entrance (This one can be passed by jumping over but the other one cannot.

As for the old bugs:

1. The invisible party members pushing is still a thing at the candy factory

2. Jumping out of bounds is still possible in the water cave


Haven't been able to find Vanessa the shark yet nor the other side quest, but I'm working on that. Also I miss Mari already.

Just put out another update that addresses the first two points. Which water cave are u able to jump out of bounds?

Here is one place where you can just come from the right of the 2nd to bottom edge and get there.


In addition, this error came up after defeating the shark.


The area past the dev there is supposed to be inaccessible! Ty for showing example of the other stuff!

I probably confused it because when I left the water city, that was where I ended up as opposed to the entrance with the mana crystal. Also updated the message with a new bug.

Ah ok. How did you find the difficulty of the boss fight?
